Managing location data often involves dealing with multiple files, spreadsheets, and brochures, stored across different systems. Whether you’re mapping hospitals, educational institutions, or infrastructure assets, accessing location-specific documents can become time-consuming and inefficient. What if users could simply click on a map location and instantly access all related documents? With MAPOG, you can create interactive maps, upload location data through CSV files, and attach PDFs, brochures, and other supporting documents directly to individual map locations. This helps centralize information, improve accessibility. In this guide, we’ll explore how to attach PDFs and documents to map locations using MAPOG.
Key Concepts Behind Attaching PDFs to Map Locations
MAPOG combines geographical data with supporting documents, making it easier to understand, analyze, and manage assets through an interactive map interface. Business Location Templates allow you to standardize location information by defining custom attributes such as Hospital ID, Hospital Name, Area etc. These attributes help organize data consistently across all locations.
Each map location can act as a digital information hub. Instead of storing documents in spreadsheets, you can associate them directly with the relevant location, ensuring users always access the correct information. Users can click on a location point and immediately view or download attached documents such as PDF reports, Brochures, Medical records etc. This eliminates the need to search through separate document repositories.
