Engineer Philosophy Web Services Pvt Ltd (“Engineer Philosophy,” “MAPOG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and appreciates your trust. This combined Privacy Policy and End‑User License Agreement (EULA) explains:
- Privacy – what information we collect and how we use, share, and protect it.
- License – the legal terms that govern your download or use of the MAPOG mobile application (the “App”) and the MAPOG website, API, and related services (together, the “Services”).
By creating an account, installing, or using the App or Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to this document. If you do not agree, please do not use MAPOG.
1 Scope
- This document applies to all personal information collected through the App, https://www.mapog.com, and any other site, product, or service that links to it.
- Additional terms or product‑specific privacy notices may apply to certain features (e.g., geolocation add‑ons or beta programmes). Those terms supplement—rather than replace—this document.
2 Information We Collect

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
3 How We Use Your Information
- Provide & improve the Services – create your projects, render maps, personalise content, and develop new features.
- Communications – send account alerts, transactional receipts, and marketing messages (you may opt out at any time).
- Analytics & research – understand feature adoption and fix bugs via Google Analytics, RevenueCat, and internal tools.
- Security & compliance – detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3.1 Legal Bases (EEA & UK only)
We process data (a) to perform our contract with you; (b) with your consent; (c) for our legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement); and/or (d) to comply with the law.
4 Data Storage, Transfers & Security
- Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Mumbai, Frankfurt, and Virginia regions) with industry‑standard encryption at rest and TLS in transit.
- Payment credentials never touch our servers; they are vaulted by Stripe, Razorpay, or RevenueCat under PCI‑DSS Level 1 controls.
- We retain active‑account data until you delete your account. After deletion, data is placed in an encrypted backup that is automatically purged after 7 days.
- For international transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other equivalent safeguards where required.
5 Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local‑storage keys, and mobile‑SDK identifiers to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.
6 Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your locale, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or object to certain uses. Use the in‑app Profile → Delete Account path or e‑mail support@mapog.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7 Subscriptions & Billing (Auto‑Renewable)
7.1 Plans & Pricing

Prices include applicable taxes and may vary by region. Currency conversion is handled by Apple (iOS), Google Play (Android), and Stripe or Razorpay (web).
7.2 Free Trial
- New users receive 15 days of full access with the usage limits described in‑app.
- Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited once a subscription is purchased.
7.3 Auto‑Renew Terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID, Google Play, Stripe, or Razorpay account at purchase confirmation.
- Subscriptions automatically renew 24 hours before the end of each period at the same price.
- Manage or cancel at any time:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → MAPOG
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MAPOG
- Web: Dashboard → Billing → Manage Subscription
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; partial refunds are issued only where required by law.

8 Third‑Party Services
We integrate the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Amazon Web Services – hosting https://aws.amazon.com/privacy
- Stripe – payments outside India https://stripe.com/privacy
- Razorpay – payments in India https://razorpay.com/privacy
- RevenueCat – in‑app purchases https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
- MapTiler – basemap tiles https://maptiler.com/privacy-policy
- Google Analytics – product analytics https://policies.google.com/privacy
9 End‑User License Agreement (EULA)
9.1 License Grant
Engineer Philosophy grants you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable, limited licence to download and use the App solely for your internal business or personal purposes, in accordance with this EULA and our Terms of Service.
9.2 Restrictions
You may not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App; (b) reverse‑engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; (c) sell, lease, or sublicense the App; or (d) use the App for any unlawful purpose or to create a competing service.
9.3 Ownership
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Engineer Philosophy. MAPOG, the MAPOG logo, and all related marks are our trademarks.
9.4 Updates & Changes
We may deploy automatic updates. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
9.5 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your licence if you violate this EULA. Upon termination you must delete all copies of the App. Sections 9.3–9.8 survive termination.
9.6 Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
9.7 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Engineer Philosophy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.
9.8 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Engineer Philosophy harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of this EULA.
9.9 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This EULA is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
9.10 Apple‑Specific Terms (Third‑Party Beneficiary)
- This EULA is between you and Engineer Philosophy, not Apple Inc.
- Apple is a third‑party beneficiary of this EULA and may enforce it against you.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the App fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no further liability.
- You represent that you are not in a country subject to U.S. embargo or designated as a terrorist‑supporting country and are not listed on any U.S. Government prohibited‑party list.
10 Changes to This Document
We may update this Privacy Policy & EULA periodically. Material changes will be announced via e‑mail or in‑app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
